Abstract<\/strong>
Capital Image<\/em> is an exhibition conceived by the researcher Estelle Blaschke and the photographer Armin Linke, which proposes to think of photography as an information technology capable of measuring and quantifying the world for speculative purposes. Put into flux by their images, things can then circulate along the highways of information and commerce. Capital Image<\/em> proposes to make an archaeology of this government by vision, mixing documents and works of various kinds in a curatorial proposal and a research project that we wanted to discuss with Estelle Blaschke.\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Estelle Blaschke<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Estelle Blaschke est historienne de la photographie. Ses approches situent son travail \u00e0 l\u2019intersection entre histoire des l\u2019art et des m\u00e9dia, histoire des sciences et de la culture comme en t\u00e9moigne l\u2019ouvrage tir\u00e9 de sa th\u00e8se de doctorat, Banking on Images: The Bettmann Archive and Corbis<\/em>. De 2015 \u00e0 2020, elle conduisit un projet de recherche sur l\u2019histoire du microfilm \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Lausanne et enseigne, depuis 2020, \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de B\u00e2le et \u00e0 l\u2019ECAL. Elle est \u00e9galement membre du comit\u00e9 \u00e9ditorial de la revue Transbordeur. Photographie, Histoire, Soci\u00e9t\u00e9<\/em> ainsi que des projets The Migrant Image Research Group, Double Bound Economies outre l\u2019exposition Capital Image dont elle assure la curation avec Armin Linke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
